Meredith Therapy is committed to making this website accessible to all visitors, including people who are blind or low vision, deaf or hard of hearing, have mobility or cognitive disabilities, or use assistive technology.
Our accessibility standards
We design and review this site against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA, which is the benchmark commonly referenced for the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). We continually check new pages and features as they are added.
What we have put in place
- Full keyboard navigation, with a visible focus indicator on every link, button, menu, form field and filter.
- A skip-to-main-content link and a logical heading order on every page.
- Text and controls tested for the color contrast required by WCAG 2.2 Level AA.
- Descriptive alternative text on photos and accessible names on icons and image-based buttons.
- Contact form fields with clear labels, required fields marked in text, and confirmation and error messages announced to screen readers.
- Layouts that reflow and stay usable at 200% zoom and on phones and tablets.
